Olivia Teroba

Olivia Teroba (Tlaxcala, 1988) is the author of the autobiographical essay Un lugar seguro. Her short stories, which explore the intimate repercussions of social violence, are compiled in two volumes: Respirar bajo el agua and Pequeñas manifestaciones de luz, published in Chile as El fin del mundo y el inicio. She has been awarded grants by various Mexican writing programs, including the Foundation for Mexican Letters and FONCA, and she has received the Tlaxcala State Prizes in the short story and essay categories, the Edmundo Valadés Latin American Short Story Prize, the Salvador Gallardo Dávalos National Youth Literature Prize, and the Casa Wabi-Dharma Books Fiction Prize. She is currently reading, writing, and editing. She also forms part of the editorial project Osa Menor.
