Beth Hickling-Moore

Beth Hickling-Moore is a literary translator, writer, and teacher. She translates prose and poetry from Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian into English, and has a particular interest in translating underrepresented majority world voices, such as women from Lusophone Africa, and queer literature. Beth has an MA in Translation from the University of Bristol and was a poetry delegate at the 2023 BCLT Summer School at the University of East Anglia. She has work upcoming in Modern Poetry in Translation and is a 2024 mentee for the PELTA emerging translator mentorship.
