Fiona Maloney-McCrystle

Fiona Maloney-McCrystle is a freelance translator and interpreter based in Washington, DC. She holds an MA in Translation and Interpretation (Spanish<>English) from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a BA in history from Middlebury College in Vermont. She is also an alumna of Middlebury’s Betty Ashbury Jones MA ’86 School of French. Fiona has translated book reviews for Latin American Literature Today and served as an assistant editor for The Routledge Handbook of Latin American Literary Translation. She is a certified court interpreter. Her other translation and interpreting work largely focuses on human rights, education, and the environment.
