Issy Emmitt

Issy Emmitt is a translator and academic from Wiltshire, England. She earned a BA in Spanish & Politics from the University of Bath, and an MA in Literary Translation from the University of East Anglia, where her translation of Arelis Uribe’s Italia was published by Egg Box (2023). She translates from Spanish and Portuguese for the charity Translators Without Borders, and is currently studying the dissolution of Iberian exceptionalism to the Far Right.
