Karen Wooley Martin

Karen Wooley Martin is a translator and professor of Spanish-American literature at Union University. She holds the Doctor of Modern Languages from Middlebury College. She teaches courses on Spanish-to-English translation, has published several translations in Latin American Literature Today, and has served as a volunteer translator for nonprofits such as Lifeline Blood Services. She is the author of Isabel Allende’s House of the Spirits Trilogy: Narrative Geographies (Tamesis, 2010) and approximately two dozen book reviews and journal articles.
