Diego Rodríguez Landeros

Diego Rodríguez Landeros (b. Mazatlán, 1988), is a Mexican essayist and novelist based in Mexico City and Mazatlán. He studied Literature at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and served as a fellow at the Foundation for Mexican Letters and at the Young Creators Program of FONCA. His texts have been published by various Mexican publications including Revista de la Universidad de México, Tierra Adentro, Timonel, Este País, Cuadrivio, and Pieglo 16, and have appeared in English translation by Robin Myers in The Baffler and Words Without Borders. He is the author of three books of essays: El investigador perverso (2014), Nadie es tan desvergonzado como desea (2019), and Drenajes (2021). His 2019 novel Desagüe won the Premio Nacional de Novela Histórica Ignacio Solares.
