Nicolás Campisi

Nicolás Campisi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Georgetown University. He has published on Latin American environmental dystopias, ecofeminism, and soccer culture. His first book manuscript, The Return of the Contemporary: The Latin American Novel in the End Times, analyzes how the twenty-first-century Latin American novel narrates our present era of apocalyptic catastrophes marked by environmental precariousness and socioeconomic crisis. He is currently working on a book project entitled Continental Ruins: The Literature of Ecohorror in Latin America
